Soldotna,AK

Summary

I am a homeschooled senior in high school looking to develop professional skills and have the money to pay off my car insurance and phone bill. I previously went to Soldotna High School where I got my food workers card and had a steady 3.2 GPA. During the summers of 2019, 2021, and 2022, I volunteered at Equine Assisted Therapy Alaska and worked with horses and patients, mainly the former. My tasks included feeding, exercising, leading, and grooming the horses, as well as mucking out their stalls and monitoring the patients with other volunteers for their safety. I am easily coachable, a fast learner, and a diligent worker, and I look forward to working with you.

Equine Assisted Therapy Alaska
05.2022 - 07.2022

While working at EATA, I would groom, lead, exercise, and feed horses, work with therapists and those with special needs, and work with other volunteers to figure out a good schedule for the day. When working with the patients, I would participate in activities, such as helping them grab rings from poles or find lost toys, and walk with them to make sure they wouldn't fall off the horse.

Art and Writing

I mainly draw in my free time since it's something I want to get better at. I'm also looking to major in art once I get into college, so I find it better to start practicing now.

I write when I'm bored. I'm not the best at it, but I still love it.
