  • Respond to non-emergent/emergent calls at Western Carolina University's campus. Administer BLS medications, hospital transports to Harris Regional Hospital in Sylva, NC, while assisting Harris ALS needs during emergent situations.
  • Consistently participate in continued education opportunities at least twice every month, either when reviewing various State Protocols, or practicing EMT-Basic skills on BLS level.
  • Actively engaged within the community by hosting educational events with fellow EMTs such as "Stopping the Bleed" and CPR classes in order to recognize situations when it is most crucial, including early defibrillation AED. (note: not certifying CPR)
  • Take part in social standby events including my previous participation of football games, basketball, graduation ceremonies and carnival/fairs.
