Transitioning from a high-pressure emergency medical environment (as an EMT), I bring strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills. I learned how to properly inventory, and have realized the importance of maintaining a clean and sterile environment. My experience working as a waiter helped me learn interpersonal skills, and the importance of active listening and following instructions. Working with special needs children taught me patience and the skills needed to work in challenging situations. I hope to use these skills in a role as a research assistant.
