- Supervised a team of 8 cable technicians maintaining 840 confined spaces, inside and outside plant cable, antennas, climbing, safety, and dig authorizations, while deploying network environments for 10K members at Aviano AFB
- I generated and delivered a FO splicing course to my unit covering 3 different methods of termination to include: Fusion splicing, UniCam, and 3M Hotmelt. I also demonstrated how to terminate SC/LC/ST connector types onto ISP/OSP/Zipcord cable.
- I was tasked with installing over 10k ft of ISP MM FO for a top secret network inside a designated SCIF. Using a fusion splicer I terminated over 350 LC splice on connectors, and then tested each strand with an OTDR to verify the dB loss didn't exceed the proper threshold by BICSI standards.
- During a renovation of the emergency response headquarters at Aviano Air Base, I led my team of cable technicians to install/terminate a 24 strand SM FO cable. We terminated each side into LC cassettes, dressed the cable, and then mounted them inside their respective patch panels.
