• Reviewed plans and inspected ongoing construction to keep work in line with daily and weekly goals.
• One of my biggest focuses was to establish healthy relationships with our members and guests. Provide them with enjoyable and sustainable playing conditions.

• Operation of all equipment related to continuous seasonal practices. (Top-dressing, verticutting, aeration, and spraying calibrations relating to pesticides and fertilizers).

I took on an Internship at Detroit Golf Club in preparation for the Rocket Mortgage Classic PGA event. My daily tasks included hand watering greens, shaping irrigation heads, mowing greens, rolling greens, and changing holes/course set-up. It was a privilege to see what goes on behind the scenes when devising our plan for the upcoming event.

• Focusing on the establishment of positive relationships with both the working crew members and golfers.
• Used trimmers and chainsaws for grounds maintenance, brush clearing, and tree removal and thinning.
• Provided expert lawn care, mulching, aerating and trimming around walk-ways, walls, and flower beds.

• Performed regular watering and fertilizing of lawns, trees and shrubs to promote healthy vegetation growth.

• I worked as a golf maintenance employee at River Run Country Club for nearly over a year and a half.
• My daily responsibilities, included mowing greens, approaches, rough, weed-eating, fly-mowing, and rolling.
• I fell in love with being outside and working on perfecting the aesthetically pleasing environment around me.
• Performed regular watering and fertilizing of lawns, trees and shrubs to promote healthy vegetation growth.
• Operated landscaping equipment with focus on safety and machine longevity.
