Benjamin Mackoff

I started off working at this nearby restaurant as a busser and each summer for the past four years I have gone back to work learning a different job and contributing to the restaurant in new ways. Leading the kitchen through lunch and dinner rushes while helping prep and made food as well as doing the register some days. I have had to be versatile, learn quickly and stay calm during during my shifts.

I originally collaborated with C The difference Cory Cares as part of my Bar Mitzvah project. I decided to use my own money to go buy gluten free food for local food pantries. I had recently been diagnosed with Celiac Disease and wanted to help those who might not be able to eat gluten either. After I had completed my Bar Mitzvah project I became a board member in the Cory Cares organization were we would buy food for local food pantries each month of the year.
