As Environmental Consultants & Home Inspectors we evaluate residential and light commercial properties to ensure Environmental safety and compliance with industry standards/local building codes. As an owner operator I am a "Technician" for the business as well. The daily job description is as below:

I started "Appalachian Advantage Contracting LLC on 10/6/2020. I had been working as a handyman and for various established contractors and property mangers in the area prior to this business starting. I have since filed a "DBA" officially doing business as "Health of Home" to make this the legal operating name.

As with any new business I dove into the learning process and tackled each hurdle head on. We continued our handyman work and took on additional tasks for companies like Leaf Filter, Walden Hatton Construction, and various project managers. We brought on accountants and small business advisors that allowed us to continue to grow and build a solid foundation.

My role at Sign Pro was the Installation & Production Technician. This role consisted of the creation, assembly, and installation of a variety of signage products. This role is critical in ensuring that each sign meets our high standards for quality and durability, and is installed safely and accurately at client locations. I worked closely with our design team, production staff, and clients to bring visual communication projects to life.

As an Entrepreneur and creative young business owner I had the opportunity to work as a Sole Proprietor fulfilling a Handyman role within many Class A contracting outfits as well as for the general public. This was designated 1099 self employed income. I was fortunate enough to work directly under Walden Hatton Construction where I became passionate about furthering my pursuit within the Residential Services & Construction industry. I operated as a Sole Proprietor until the official start of "Appalachian Advantage Contracting LLC" in 2020.
