Research Project Lead - Experimental Social Psychology

Presented a creative research topic which was ultimately chosen to be experimentally conducted. Lead two other peers through the design and organization of the methods, execution of data collection, and data analysis. Throughout this experience I gained the following valuable skills:

  • Analytical and critical thinking while surmounting complex problems that arose during the construction of the research design
  • Management as I coordinated my team and allocated tasks that needed to be accomplished
  • Oral and written communication through sharing our research in class presentations along with scholarly essays
  • Proficiencies with technological systems, such as SONA systems, Qualtrics, and JASP, to functionally perform data collection and data analysis


Research Lab Coordinator - SOAR Lab, May 2024 to May 2025

Functioned as the research team lead for the Stereotyping and Objectification Action Research (SOAR) Lab. Worked closely with Dr. Professor Jill Allen through the creation of a manuscript for prior research. Guided my team of three peers as we navigated the development of a new research project. Engaging with this role, I gained essential research skills:

  • Leadership through modeling the research process and assisting with complications
  • Creativity as I offered unique insight in the discussion surrounding the research topic
