Summary

I was born and raised in upstate NY. I completed my Bachelors in Science from Georgia Southwestern University in Americus, Ga. I have taught Kindergarten for 24 years and First Grade for 2 years. I started my teaching career in Georgia. I moved to Texas to be closer to my family and taught 3 years in Kemp ISD. In 2012 I moved over to Keller ISD and have been teaching Kindergarten, along with 2 years teaching First Grade. I have been a Team Leader in First Grade. I am currently serving as Team Lead in Kindergarten. I have one daughter, Amber Joelle Nelson. I have 2 dogs. One 6 year old Maltipoo named Marchello and a 1 year old Bischon-poo named Medici. I enjoy spending time with family and friends, traveling, reading, and walking the dogs.
