As a pre-order packer, my job was to make sure customers online orders were ready for them to pick up. There are other responsibilities with being a pre order packer. I was trained in other spots in my location. For example, Uber orders were always coming in. I was trained to assemble most orders, and making sure everything was put inside the bag and make sure the customer was satisfied.

Package handling was a lot more physical. I had to stack the boxes inside trailers that’s were going out of state. I used a scanner to scan each box that was coming in. Made sure each package was put in nicely and the proper way so that the package doesn’t move or get smushed my others. I would have to build steady big walls of boxes.

Being a cashier it was my job to make sure they got everything the customer needed. Also helping them out bagging their items a certain way, for example bagging cleaning supplies in a different bag instead of the food. I would sometimes also have the responsibility of putting things out on the shelf’s. Whenever I was doing that I’d also make sure customers were able to find what they needed or get anything from the back if we had any in stock.
