I grew up riding from age 5 , I started with ponies in the backyard. I then got interested in showing and moved to riding with The Barracks in Charlottesville, Va training with Glenn Moody and Claiborne Bishop. I showed throughout my Jr. years and had the opportunity to show at Harrisburg and Washington in the Hunters as well as the equitation. Then in college took break from riding until Jr Year I was able to have 2 amateur owner hunters show in Ocala Florida that wInter, I graduated and moved for a year and realized while i was there I missed riding so I returned to Charlottesville and continued to show in amateur owner hunters doing indoors
Harrisburg, Washington and the Meadowlands finishing my amateur career at Devon of that year. With the realization that to stay in the horse world the focus should be finding a job . Amberley Farm was my first job working with Elizabeth and Beverley Solter in Monkton, Maryland. I worked with them for five years first for a private client of theirs grooming at the A shows with both Hunters jumpers and equitation horses, and then riding young sales horses , teaching and showing client horses Next I worked for Kinloch Farm /Aimee Aron in Keswick Virginia where i managed her show ponies , equitation horses and Jr Jumpers, both at home and traveling to shows. Next i spent a winter in indio. California with Elven Star Farm /Jim Hagman. I rode and schooled horses and helped with clients at the shows. I Then went back to Virginia where i worked privately at Merifields Farm for Stewart Humiston managing her amateur show jumpers, and riding. Lastly I spent a winter in Wellington, Fl preparing horses to show for Chance Arkelian and his client. With all that information that brings me to 12 years ago the start of my resume.
. I have been lucky to do this for many years, and would now really like to focus on teaching and riding . I am definitely a team player and like to see horses and their riders set and reach their goals. Let me know what u think If you would like references i can forward u those.
