  • During my time as a crew leader for the Wyoming Conservation Corps, I furthered my experience with trail work and worked on numerous water conservation structures.

  • Working in this environment (camping out with coworkers for 10 days at a time) taught me to take a holistic approach to projects; taking into account input from anyone involved
  • As crew leader, I helped to build the new Pilot Hill trail connecting the top of Pilot Hill to the School Yard trails in Laramie
  • I oversaw and participated in the construction of 43 Beaver-Dam Analogs in the Nature Conservancy's Red Desert Canyon (near Lander, WY) as part of an innovative stream restoration project to revitalize Western wetlands
