Provide outpatient mental health treatment, currently via Telehealth, with a diverse client base. Provide assessments, psychotherapy, crisis intervention, psychoeducation and eclectic, trauma-informed treatment tailored to the individual needs and goals of each patient. Buddhist Psychology provides a foundation for contemplative reflection and healing. Work with individual adults and couples. Worked closely with administrative and clinical staff including psychiatrists to facilitate appropriate interventions related to crisis calls, psychopharmacology and case management. Full-time, fee for service contracted clinician providing outpatient mental health and substance abuse services for individuals, couples, families and groups in this private practice setting. Developed and facilitated Chemical Dependency Relapse Prevention Program for voluntary and court-mandated clients, including those recently incarcerated. Facilitated Traditional Psychoeducational Outpatient and Intensive Outpatient Substance Abuse Groups. Performed initial and ongoing assessments and diagnostics. Provided Acu-Detox for clients recovering from chemical dependency. Maintained appropriate, documentation including treatment plans, progress notes, discharge summaries and monthly reports. Worked closely with fellow clinicians, psychiatrists and staff physician to provide comprehensive treatment servies for diverse populations.

Full-time position. Facilitated individual, family and group therapy for clients enrolled in the Substance Abuse Day Treatment Program. Provided specialized services for LGBTQAI clients and trauma survivors with dual diagnoses. Supervised eight clinical staff members to ensure quality service delivery and adherence to licensure standards. Acted as Program Supervisor when position was vacant.

Full-time position. Provided crisis intervention, individual, family and group therapy for residential and non-residential clients of this agency dedicated to alleviation of domestic and sexual violence. Coordinated services with community agencies through case management, consultation and advocacy. Supervised direct practice work of all other staff including shelter manager and volunteers. Designed and implemented policies and program objectives. Responsible for maintaining appropriate documentation and submitting monthly reports. Served as a member of interdisciplinary community safety awareness and intervention team. Promoted from Shelter manager to Director of Clients Services three months after initial hiring date.

Brief, supplemental PRN position. Performed biopsychosocial assessments, case management, consultation, crisis intervention and brief therapy to patients referred by Home Health.

Full-time position. Provided social services including case management, supportive counseling, treatment intervention, discharge planning, and advocacy for residents of this 60 bed nursing facility and their families. Responsible for marketing and admissions. Worked closely with interdisciplinary team of Department Managers to ensure quality of care standards. Responsible for Medicare assessments and ongoing progress reports.

Part-time position. Facilitated outpatient substance abuse treatment services consisting of case management, individual and group psychotherapy. Performed initial evaluations and maintained appropriate documentation and reports. Facilitated drug screen. Referrals included voluntary and court-appointed clients.

Part-time position. Facilitated substance abuse psychoeducation groups for male and female adolescents in this residential treatment facility. Supervised residents in running their own 12-step meetings. Positions required creative interventions, behavioral management, de-escalation techniques, non-violent crisis intervention and appropriate, confidential documentation.

Full-time position. Provided intensive in-home treatment services for at risk youth ages 5 to 12 and their families as a means of retaining the children in their homes. Services included crisis intervention, individual an family counseling, psychoeducation and case management. Performed initial and ongoing evaluations, treatment planning and service coordination while maintaining appropriate documentation. Prescreened clients for psychiatric hospitalization and preformed mandated reporter role as needed.
