Additionally, Airman Sigel deployed to Turkey's largest joint air base in support of Operations Inherent Resolve, Active Fence, and Nomad Shadow. He seamlessly integrated with Turkish Security Battalion personnel to defend the installation's thirteen-mile perimeter to safeguard five thousand North Atlantic Treaty Organization personnel, forty-five coalition aircraft, and Wing assets valued at eighteen billion dollars.
