Role: Software Quality Assurance Tester/ Engineer

I played a crucial role in testing the project event-driven workflow, an integral part of the device troubleshooting pages for Kindle and Fire TV. This involved manual testing and the creation of test cases specifically tailored for AC3 device pages (such as device lists, device details, warranty service, to-do lists, and account settings pages), which are essential for identifying device information. Additionally, I tested ASTRO pages, which are vital for troubleshooting issues.

Furthermore, I successfully completed the G1 launch for Kindle and Fire TV across all marketplaces in the US, UK, CA, and JP. This launch involved implementing the event-driven workflow using lift and shift methodology and the AC3 design framework.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Working as a QA lead for the project and is solely responsible for managing all the testing activities
• Onshore and Offshore Team coordination.
• Demo the end product to the Product Owner at the end of each release.
• Designing and documenting Test Plans, Test Cases, Test Scenarios, and Test Strategies based on business requirements.
• Monitor and provide full test coverage and traceability to the business requirements.
• Attend Daily stand up with the team.
• Performing Sanity testing, Functional testing, Performance testing and Regression testing to see the entire functionality.
• Track Defects and generate defect summary reports for each release.
• Developing Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM) vs Test Cases to track requirements
• Executed various SQL queries to perform the backend testing.
• We will have a test case review meeting with the PO, Scrum Master, and developers.
• Creating test cases, testing them based on the business requirements and test scenarios, and analyzing the actual results against the expected results.
• Coordinating with developers and system engineers to fix application defects.
• Involved in weekend support for production checkout.

Role: Software QA Engineer

As a testing engineer for the Fund of Funds (FOF), I was instrumental in ensuring the quality and reliability of collective investment vehicles that invest in other collective investment vehicles. For instance, I conducted comprehensive testing on structures like the Master-Feeder (Hub and Spoke), which exemplify FOF relationships, featuring a single top-tier fund (the Master/Hub) in which the Feeders/Spokes invest.

In my role, I focused on verifying the compliance of registered investment companies investing in other registered investment companies, particularly when both the investor and "investee" funds are affiliated, indicating they are part of the same group of investment companies. Moreover, I meticulously tested funds held as assets, commonly referred to as asset or "child" funds, as well as holder or "parent" funds, which hold other funds. My efforts were geared towards ensuring the accuracy, functionality, and regulatory compliance of these complex investment structures.
