  • Advanced Radar Sensor: ARS is responsible for the functionalities like ACC and EBA
  • EBA is meant to avoid accidents by means of driver visual/audible alerts, and autonomous partial Sand full braking
  • If there is no target vehicle in front of the vehicle, it can achieve the traditional cruise control function driving at a constant speed with the target vehicle's speed
  • Short Range Radar which mounts on both sides of the car in front and rear side and tries to monitor functionalities like Blind Spot Detection, Lane Change Alerts, and Rear Collision Traffic Alerts
  • For the sensors we do the following testing
  • Error Management: Verifying DTC (Diagnostic Trouble Codes) and the system behavior under faulty conditions
  • Diagnostic Testing: To Verify the different SIDs and their respective supported DIDs and RIDs
  • Handling of Base Modules, Self-test, Log & Trace, SCTL and Memory
  • EOL (End of line) testing
  • Vehicle testing for Object detection, VDY and Communication
  • Requirement level testing of ACC and EBA
  • Event data recording
  • Design and develop and test high-quality embedded software for automotive customers delivering HMI Infotainment, Instrument Clusters, Displays, Audio, or Connectivity electronics control modules
  • Developed algorithms for image processing and computer vision to enhance camera-based ADAS features
  • Implemented and tested LiDAR sensors for 3D mapping and environment modeling in autonomous vehicles
  • Integrated radar sensors for adaptive cruise control, collision avoidance, and blind spot detection
  • Designed and implemented Automotive Ethernet networks to enable high-speed data communication within vehicle systems
  • Integrated ultrasonic sensors for close-range detection applications such as parking assistance and obstacle detection
  • Review and analyze system requirements to create embedded software designs
  • Analyze, resolve and track defects to closure
  • Document design and analyze implementation decisions
  • Compile, build different software components and integrate them in software builds
  • Analyze CAN messages using Vector tools CANayizer and CANoe
  • Performed detailed data analysis using CANalyzer and CANape, generating comprehensive reports and documentation to support engineering decisions and product development
  • Utilized data visualization tools to interpret sensor data and identify potential improvements in ADAS functionalities
  • Contributed to the continuous improvement of HIL testing processes and methodologies, staying updated with the latest advancements in Vector tools and automotive testing standards
  • Create modular or reusable embedded software design along with associated documentation
  • Test Plan Creation, Requirement Analysis, Requirements Review
  • Planning and Coordination
  • Planning of Issues and assigning ROs to the team
  • Successfully completed the SOl2 phase in record 1 year by implementing the Embedded C code as per Slat Flap Electronic Control Unit (SFECU) System requirements
  • Worked in the form of sprint team with business analysts and developers in agile methodology
  • Participation in Requirements review/ freeze Test cases implementation, Developing the CAPL scripts and execution
  • Tracking or reporting weekly status reports of the project to higher management
  • Review of Test results and preparation of Risk assessment for the defects
