Work History

Tennis Employee

Crane Creek Country Club
Boise City, ID
02.2024 - Current

During business hours, I occupy the front desk in the main lobby, and I cater to the members' needs.

  • This could include charging accounts for various fees and purchases, serving drinks, and obtaining bought products or restrung rackets. This, I am able to do quickly and efficiently.
  • Members also tend to ask questions and I promoted high customer satisfaction by resolving problems with knowledgeable and friendly service.
  • I occasionally help with junior tennis clinics (in the summer), and I also monitor and check in courts throughout my shift.

After business hours, I go through the process of closing down the facilities.

  • This includes taking out all of the trash, refilling water jugs on courts, cleaning and picking up said courts, and cleaning the main lobby area.
  • Before I clock out, I lock all the doors, grab the lights, and close down the system, and finish any billing left by either me or the tennis pros.

Assistant Swim Coach

Sawtooth Aquatic Club
Boise, ID
02.2024 - Current

I am also an assistant coach for Sawtooth Aquatics, which is a year-round competitive club swimming organization run by two of my former coaches.

My role is mainly centered around working with their developmental groups, so kids aged 8-14. I also help out coaching the higher level groups, those aged 16-18, and the ones competing on a regional and national level.

  • Organized practice sessions with my groups, including warm-ups, drills, and cool-downs.
  • Provided feedback to swimmers on their performance in order to help them improve.
  • Collaborated with head coach to plan and implement team strategies at competitions.
  • Encouraged swimmers to reach their full potential through positive reinforcement and constructive criticism.
  • Monitored swimmers' performance during practices and meets to ensure proper technique is used.
  • I also have to do quite a bit of talking with parents about their child's progress and effort levels.
  • To have this position, I had to complete the USA Swimming Coaching Certification, which was about 20 hours of certifications and courses dedicated to ensuring I was prepared and capable of transitioning from collegiate swimmer to coach.
