Perform case management services in a correctional institution, assess and determine program needs, evaluate offender progress throughout their incarceration, correspond with attorneys, probation officers, and other law enforcement agencies, develop release plans for offenders, conduct victim notifications, prepare various paperwork for central inmate monitoring, release, transfer of offenders, and progress reports.

Maintained security within a correctional facility, supervised offenders, enforced facility rules and regulations, responded to emergencies such as medical and physical altercations, counseled, and provided guidance to offenders, conducted routine inspections throughout the facility, and collaborated with other staff members to ensure a safe environment.

Determined offender needs, assisted with providing rehabilitative programming, developed release plans, prepared offender progress reports, conducted individual and group counseling with offenders, made independent decisions and recommendations related to offender treatment plans, and assisted with creating offender goals to assist with rehabilitation.

Promoted to Correctional Officer Sergeant in July 2020.

Supervised offenders of all security levels (maximum, medium, and minimum), provided emergency assistance when needed, conducted routine searches and inspections throughout the facility, enforced rules for the offender population, escorted and transported offenders to and from local hospitals, and supervised offender work crews.
