• Managed work of 3 in-house and 14 contracting splicers on various projects in local exchange areas as well as none local area projects.
• Work directly with Outside Plant Engineering, IT, Central Office and District managers for increased clarity and scope of projects.
• Plan, organize and assist on any splicing maintenances while monitoring equipment during maintenance windows to confirm services are restored quickly.
• Order supplies and materials for all future projects as well as keep inventory of current materials to insure coverage in event of future emergency splicing or pop-up projects.

• Design over 10 different fiber optic outside plant projects
• Working with state and local agencies to obtain all permits and licenses.

• Ordering of materials for in-house as well as outside construction contractors and splicers.

• Design of 50+ fiber optic outside plant projects
• Submitting and working with state and local agencies to obtain all permits and licenses to increase speed of service deployments.
• Managing 10+ in-house team members and/or various contractors on construction and splicing to turn over projects for services.
• Ordering of materials for completion of projects.
• Maintaining accurate inventories.

• Fiber splicing and recording of critical information for business services including direct as well as passive optical network services.
• Performed any splicing maintenances requiring taking down and restoration of critical company services.
• Record keeping of field splicing.

Duties included fiber optic splicing for delivery of communication services to residential and businesses in local service areas. This included installation of premise equipment and educating customers on use of equipment as well as trouble shooting to repair services.
