• Review medications request, verify insurance coverage, contact physicians, and members to obtain additional information when necessary, and document all relevant information to ensure patients receive timely approval for medications that require prior authorization. And act as a mentor to new hires on the team.

Receive incoming calls from members, providers, facilities, employer groups, and other departments. Investigate and resolve any pharmacy claims issues including benefit explanation and complaint/problem resolution.

Assists pharmacists in dispensing medications and related tasks, including filling prescriptions, managing inventory, and providing customer service
