Position: Production Manager, responsible for all aspects of the production process, including safety, quality, and productivity. We developed a production team consisting of 250 team members capable of producing complex building projects.

Our team constructed three significant projects for the United States Army, Corps of Engineers. We constructed 3,700 two- and four-story units for Fort Hood, Killeen, TX; Fort Bliss, El Paso, TX; and Fort Sam Houston, San Antonio, TX.

During my tenure with Fleetwood, I held positions as Production Manager and was the Director of Manufacturing for seven years, working with seven western region facilities. I was responsible for supporting, coaching, and directing the Quality Managers and Production Managers at these facilities to meet and/or exceed company targets.

I was directly involved in opening six manufacturing facilities. As such, I was responsible for the manufacturing facility layout, hiring management teams and associates, along with supporting the teams during start-up.

Our facility received a prestigious award from the Modular Building Institute (Judges' Choice Award) for our military housing at the Fort Sam Houston base in San Antonio, TX.

• Responsibilities included producing a high-quality product, achieving scheduled product output, team development, and maintaining a safe work environment while controlling manufacturing cost. Worked with suppliers, customers, and third-party inspection agencies to ensure all quality standards were met and timely customer service was provided, if necessary.

• Responsible for all aspects of the manufacturing facility with safety as the first priority, hiring and training members to build a quality product, maintaining high efficiencies to meet established output schedules, maintaining a clean, well-organized facility, and working with state and federal inspection agencies.
