• Lead and collaborate with Barry Wehmiller IT operations and various business units to design, build, and implement security controls and systems to improve the security posture within the Barry-Wehmiller Enterprise
• Responsible for extending visibility from a security lens through the implementation of logging, monitoring, alerting
• Developed, implemented, updated security incident response (IR) processes and procedures (endpoints, servers, network, identity and data, threats both internal and external)
• Review emerging products, technologies, and best practices to improve the security posture for the Barry-Wehmiller Enterprise
• Conduct research and proof of value for new and various security technologies and product comparisons to identify which best fits the need of not only security, but also meets the need of the business
• Work with C-Level leadership in the development of security policies, standards, strategies, frameworks, developing and testing the disaster recovery plan
• Perform or assist in security audits, identify security gaps, develop methods to reduce or mitigate risk
• Point of contact for security investigations and basic forensic analysis of security incidents that require discretion
• Developed, implemented, and took leadership of the Global Information Security team for the Barry-Wehmiller Enterprise. Increased the Information security team from 1 to 8 people in 12 months
• Fulfill additional duties as a core member of the Barry Wehmiller IT council for the Enterprise

• Assist with technical design, implementation or integration of security solutions and controls
• Document and investigate security incidents
• Create visibility from a security lens to help align focus to reduce or mitigate risk and vulnerabilities
• Create security incident response process where non existed and update existing security incident response processes. Ensure proper following of incident response procedures when implemented
• Remediation of IR requests and resolve general security related requests as required
• Responsible for administration duties for security controls and operations infrastructure systems (Azure, O365, on-premise and Cloud infrastructure servers, anti-virus, AD, etc.…)

• Network Technician: Responsible for IMACD (installation, moves, adds, changes, deletions) and support for VOIP hardware and services (both from user and operations back-end), basic route & switch changes and troubleshooting simple network issues, assisted with implementation and monitoring of various tools, device management, and out of band (OOB) devices and services. Assisted Network Engineers with troubleshooting and other various tasks as required
• Information Security Analyst (Intern): Conduit for most security related issues, requests, or low-level security investigations. Assisted in designing and implementing various Enterprise level security controls and policies where needed. Member of Disaster Recovery team assisting in creation of a disaster recovery plan and participating in DR tabletop exercises

• Software Specialist | Technical Writer: Primary point of escalation for the support desk from both help desk and IT operations administration topics. Responsible for creating a wide range of documentation including user guides, manuals, technical specifications, training materials, IT related policies and procedures (including security related items). Responsible for the deployment of software at both a local and enterprise level. Responsible for operations admin duties that include (AD, Critical Systems, Finance systems, Exchange, Asset tracking systems, ticket systems, VMware administration, backup administration, etc....)
• Security Specialist: duties included being the primary point of contact for low level security related questions, request for observation and reporting, as well as suggesting security solutions based on observations

• Provided IT technical support regarding software, hardware, network, VPN, access management issues to Boeing employees both on-site as well as off-site
• Administrative support for security access controls and measures by means of badge procedures, verification, verification protocols, secure badge setup for remote access, and troubleshooting diagnostics and usage of said access protocols
• Contribute to maintaining security and personally identifiable information (PII) and made use of reporting any possible security and protocol breaches
• Served as primary escalation for IT support analysts
• Trained internal staff members on administrative processes, work instructions and procedures to facilitate consistent and seamless support operations
• Established best practices for knowledgebase creation and editing for more than 150 support team members, this included providing knowledge base content as well

• Responsible for maintaining plant integrity, design, and maintaining plant FCC specifications within Charter Communications fiber-rich plant. Responsibilities extended to maintaining proper light and radio frequency (RF) levels throughout the Charter mainline network
• Provided technical computing and network support to Charter Communications customers with various technical backgrounds. Duties included new customer installation / setup of charter in-home technologies, as well as point of escalation contact for 45 other field technicians
