Oversee and coordinate various routine highway maintenance activities for 7 Department of Corrections
officers and inmate work squads on a daily basis. Direct work flow and prioritize various operational
procedures to include direct contact with public entities about maintenance issues through email and
meetings. Ensure work needs and deadlines are met through quality control methods using smart devices
such as smart phone, tablets in the field. Maintain up to date training in several office programs such
as One Note, One Drive, Microsoft Word, Outlook and other programs. Operate and maintain, and train
subordinates in the safe operation of company pickup trucks, backhoe, loaders, forklifts, excavators,
8 yard dump trucks, 4 yard crew trucks, zero turn mowers, trailers plus various hand tools to include
pole saws, chain saws, skill & concrete saws, weed eaters, blowers ect. Maintain a positive attitude and
training to always better myself as a supervisor.

Highway Maintenance Coordinator

Coordinate work for Sign crew on a daily basis. Drive a Commercial Vehicle daily with no incidents
or violations. Operate various types of equipment and tools to include Loaders, skid steer, forklift,
backhoe, lift trucks, chainsaws, jack hammer, saws. Transport equipment to and from job sites and during
natural disasters, and emergency situations to assist the on call supervisor. Fix and maintain all signs
on FDOT Right of way, assemble signs and coordinate work within a 6 man crew. Fill in for my boss as a
Maintenance Manager and direct work flow of up to 4 work crews and 4 DOC squads.
