As the System Director of Ultrasound at Oklahoma Heart Hospitals and Clinics in Oklahoma City, I provide leadership to a team of 90 sonographers, overseeing their activities in both hospital and clinical settings. I am responsible for the management of the echo departments at Mercy Hospital OKC and Mercy South Tower, while also lending support to skill development and performance improvement initiatives at Mercy Ardmore Hospital and McAlester Regional Hospital.

My role extends to hands-on involvement in advanced imaging, where I contribute expertise to surgical and interventional cases, encompassing TAVR, CT, and TEE measurements for procedures such as TAVR, MV Clip, stress testing, 3D imaging, Strain imaging, and Vein Surgery. Upholding high standards, I actively maintain accreditation from the Intersocietal Accreditation Commission (IAC) for both Echo and Vascular services.

Recognizing the importance of continuous learning, I drive staff education and training initiatives, utilizing effective tools such as PowerPoint presentations and Continuing Medical Education (CME) lectures. Additionally, I engage in a continual process of analysis and refinement to enhance departmental efficiency and ensure the delivery of top-quality ultrasound services.
