Review and analyze nursing documentation on in home infusion visits to ensure accuracy, completeness and adherence to established clinical standards and quality guidelines. Verify dosage, medication and frequency of visits to orders received from pharmacies. Communicate effectively with the field nurses on any discrepancies, missing or incorrect documentation providing constructive feedback to nurses regarding documentation issues.

• The Patient Placement assistant is responsible for the coordination of all hospital admission and accommodation activities
• Administers the policies and operational procedures necessary for the coordination of expeditious, safe admission of patients
• Provides clinical expertise and technical assistance to the professional and clerical staff with regard to eligibility requirements and bed availability
• Assumes technical responsibility for hospital transfers, admissions, and accommodations
• Serves as a liaison between admitting, nursing staff, physicians, and transferring hospitals to ensure proper placement

• Monitor Technician nurse is responsible and accountable for continuous EKG monitoring of inpatient cardiac rhythms
• Accurate interpretation of EKG rhythms, noting changes in the rhythm, rate, or arrhythmia
• Communication of changes to appropriate nurse when indicated
• In addition, organized the telemetry department by maintaining the work schedule for the department, ordering supplies and communicated the departments needs and opinions to the director
