  • While as a CO I had multiple duties that consisted of conducting accurate headcounts of the inmates at the facility, maintaining the security of the inmates and staff, conducting thorough room searches and pat downs of the inmates, monitoring the movements on the yard such as open grounds, movements to and from dining, medical, school, visitation etc. While employed there I helped monitor visitation along with helping for a few months with the yard crew. After 1 year of employment I applied for the Recreational Manager which I got the position. While in this position I setup up multiple events/activities for the inmates such as basketball tournaments, card/domino tournaments, workouts classes, and had a 1 mile Recovery Run. While in this position I still continued to assist with the regular duties of a CO to help out with shifts that were short staffed.
