I perform a variety of administrative functions, controlling visitor access to the installation, in support of the Directorate of Emergency Services. This includes issuance of identification badges and cards, camera passes, Common Access Cards (CAC), and Uniformed Service ID Cards.

I determine the eligibility of visitors to the installation through identity proofing, vetting to determine the fitness of an individual requesting and/or requiring access to the Bluegrass Army Depot. Eligiblity is determined through the conduct of security screening and verification of the visit through the use of Automated Installation Entry (AIE) / the National Crime Information Center (NCIC), Homeland Security Presidential Directive-12 (HSPD-12), and IAW local SOPs.

  • I fabricate multiple categories of identification badges that designate an individual's authorized access onto the installation, the restricted area, and the controlled limited areas.
  • I maintain a database that includes information concerning the issue, accountability, control, and destruction of all badges.
  • I prepare monthly reports related to badging and prepare and maintain four badging rosters: Denied Access Roster, Chemical Limited Access Badge Roster, and Badge Destruction Roster.
  • I maintain an accurate account of temporary registration forms issued and place timely orders for replenishing supply.
  • I am a Site Security Manager maintaining roles and responsibilities associated with DEERS/RAPIDS.
  • I prepare, process and issue Department of Defense Common Access Cards (CAC) to all eligible individuals.
  • I prepare and issue Uniform Service Identification cards (USID) to Retired Military, 100% Disabled American Veteran, Former Member, and Dependent cards.
  • I maintain all certifications and training to remain compliant for all roles required of me.
