During high school I had an opportunity to do volunteer work on a community service day here in callaway county in a group setting of my teachers and classmates. I chose to volunteer at Serve for two years in a row. My third year of volunteer work for community service day, I chose to volunteer to help an elderly couple with yard work that they could no longer do by themselves. I chose these options because I think Serve is an important asset to the community, they help family's that are in need. I chose to help the elderly couple with there yard work because I genuinely like to help people that are in need.  I was able to help them get the tasks done that they needed done with me being younger and stronger.
