- Working as a GS-08 Lead Firefighter/Captain, leading mixed crews of both civilian and active duty military status in all hazard emergency responses occurring on Travis AFB and Solano County when requested by mutual aid partners.


- Managed training program for a shift totaling 30 firefighters, ensuring training is scheduled, adequate, and effective IAW expectations set forth by the A/C of Training.


- Coordinated probationary, driver/operator, and potential fire officer firefighter training above and beyond the expectations set forth by AFCEC minimum requirements effectively mentoring the next generation of firefighters at Travis AFB.

  • Awarded Navy Military Firefighter of the Year and runner up for Department of Defense Firefighter of the Year in 2017. Recognized for his life saving actions on a multitude of emergency calls ranging from cardiac arrests and drug overdoses to shipboard fires and car accidents.
