Currently in my role as Sort Manager at FedEx Ground, safety and integrity are at the forefront with everything I do. I have always been viewed as being a respected and honest leader to my employees and superiors. Over the years I have seen FedEx change with new programs, procedures, logics, and more. With that I have learned to adapt and become knowledgeable with the ever-changing network that is FedEx. It is very important to me to grow my comprehension on all sort-based policies and procedures so I may be a better asset to the company and coach other employees so they may do the same. I would consider myself to have a high level of emotional intelligence, allowing me to be able to have a better understanding of my employee’s wants and needs. It allows me to effectively communicate to employees in a transparent way, this goes hand in hand with retention. Highly-motivated employee with desire to take on new challenges.
