Brea Wilson

Brea is a Black and Filipino, trans non-binary multidisciplinary artist born and raised in occupied Duwamish territory. Their primary mediums include filmmaking, photography, music production and fashion design. Their work is primarily centered around Black and brown queer folk and their experience. They are currently enrolled in Cornish College of the Arts Visual Arts program with an emphasis on filmmaking and photography. In addition to their schooling they are an active member of the Seattle creative community and work as a freelance photographer, videographer, and production assistant. They were recently selected for Velocity and Gay city’s Emerge program, a program designed to integrate performance and film and screened their first short film entitled “One Day Ill Speak in Tongues” at Northwest Film Forum this past May 2022.
