This was mainly a mobile dentistry program that included driving a 40-ft bus to and from clinic locations.

• Greet and prepare patients for dental procedures with exceptional patient care while working in a fast-paced environment, and chart any existing conditions or decay found by the dentist. Efficiently sterilize instruments and operatory rooms. Take X-rays, and mount them correctly. Set up for and assist with procedures: cleaning, filings, extractions, root canals, pulpotomy, crown preps, and steps for making dentures. Coronal polish teeth, place sealants, take alginate impressions, and pour the models up.
• Orthodontic assistants assist with placing brackets and debracketing, perform adjustments, and take records, including x-rays (pano and ceph), take photos, and impressions.
• Front desk scheduling appointments, understanding insurances, checking in patients, collecting medical histories, and entering them into the computer using the Eaglesoft program.
• The lead dental assistant routinely restocks and orders supplies needed while staying within budget, organizes and sends out any lab cases, routinely runs biomonitoring tests for autoclaves, and keeps up with weekly and monthly maintenance. They identify and report any maintenance issues, make sure the doctor's concerns are addressed, and ensure the back runs smoothly. Additionally, they train new dental assistants starting out and manage patient flow.
