I work with special needs individuals and have faced many challenging behaviors. Its rewarding work, and provides endless opportunities to develop patience, de-escalate behaviors and teach life skills to those who struggle with them. Im proud of how ethically and diligently Ive applied myself to this feild and grown in it. Beyond that, I have intense curiosity for learning new trades and most recently cleaned and reinstalled the P-trap assembly below my bathroom sink. An example of the things I want to learn. I want to learn so much more about mechanics and appliances. For much of my life Ive worked in healthcare. I was a home care Aid back in New York, before getting married. I worked for the agency RCIL from May 2010—May 2011, with a TBI patient who I adore. Im well versed in caring for people across the spectrum, but am now desiring to branch out in my skills
My husband and I owned a window cleaning and power washing business for years. I so enjoyed both the labor, learning from challenges that came with it and meeting and aiding our many customers.
