Summary
Mid 1984-85 I worked as a substitute teacher at Hollywood Christian School under the leadership of Pastor Rick Ackerman of the First Baptist Church of West Hollywood, Fl.
From there I became the Kindergarten Music teacher for a year under the then Pastor Bud McCord.
In the 1990's I spear headed the Children's Ministry of a start up church that my first husband and I opened. It was a small church of 200 with a vibrant kids ministry.
Merging that church with what is now called The Oasis Church in Pembroke Pines, under the direction of Guy Melton, I eventually became the Children's Ministry Director of another start up work on the east side campus.
Between 1999-2000 I began my career in retail and have been there ever since.

Dr. Henry Cloud has been my mentor through much of the learning. Also, Leadership books by men like John Maxwell. And now I am following online mentors on how to help young children process their emotions and stay on task for the benefit of my grandchildren. I hope my greatest accomplishment is being a grandma my grandkids feel safe with.
