Brenda O'Neil RN AAS

- Responsible for patient placement and flow to appropriate

units from ER, OR, and Direct Admissions.

- Allocate and reallocate RN, NA, AA and patient companions

based on census and acuity.

- Provide support for staff during all emergencies.

- Provide support pertaining to policies and procedures.

- Collaborate with other hospitals and physicians to

facilitate the transfer of patients to appropriate level

of care.

- Provide service recovery as needed for all patients,

families, and employees.

- Respond to all Codes, Rapid Responses, and Level 1

Traumas.

- Utilizes chain of command as needed to manage the

operations of the hospital on night shift and on

weekends.

- Responsible for the nightly operations of the unit including

permanent charge and the schedule for a 22 bed ICU unit.

- Staff nurse for critically ill patients including Level 1 Trauma

patients, Neurosurgery, transplants - liver and kidney, and

general surgery.

- Care of critically ill burn patients.
