• Prime dialyzer and bloodlines, record patients' medical information and vital signs, ready dialysis equipment, oversaw the dialysis treatment from start to finish, cannulate accesses, administer medications, including thrombolytics, cleans and dresses permanent and temporary catheters, monitors patient and adjusts specialized equipment used on patient, and interprets and records information

• Transcribe physician, PA/NP orders, document nursing assessments using the S.O.A.P.E
• Format, prepare and administer medication in accordance with physician orders including: immunizations, antibiotics, narcotic pain medications, vitamins, topical agents, insulin, blood thinners, and allergy antigens, initiate standardized procedures, orders, i.e., detox, opiate, alcohol

• Assess patient condition, administer medications, change dressings, monitor vital signs, keep records, and provide patients with support and education
