As an intern Firefighter my duties are to provide fire and rescue services to 136 square miles in northwest washington county, Oregon. Serving the communities of Banks, Buxton, and Timber. As an intern I assist with volunteer and career personnel to respond to more than 500 calls annually, ranging from cardiac emergencies, residential fire suppression, motor vehicle collisions and extrication, rope rescue, water rescue, and wild land fire suppression.

  • Respond to basic/ advanced life support calls and provide exquisite customer service to patients experiencing medical emergencies.
  • Properly deal with highly stressful incidents in a cool, calm, and smart manner to deal with each incident properly with the best intent to help each patient, victim, and patients families/victims.
