The 433rd Airlift Wing, the "Alamo Wing", organizes, trains and equips its 3,000 ready reservists to achieve combat readiness according to training standards established by the Air Force. Leads 3,000 personnel to meet strategic airlift training and operational mission requirements.

• Develops and manages the execution of the unit's $45MM annual operations and maintenance budget & and a $180MM maintenance budget for 8x C-5M aircraft
• Leads/mentors 3,000 personnel and other senior leaders in execution of the Wing's mission
• Responsible for Air Force-wide C-5M training mission, producing 200+ C-5 aircrew members each year (pilots, engineers & loadmasters).

Headquarters 4th Air Force provides leadership and oversight for subordinate units around the globe who provide strategic airlift, airdrop, aeromedical, air refueling, and expeditionary air mobility capabilities for the US Air Force. 4th Air Force responsibilities encompass 300 units and more than 33,000 personnel.

• Responsible for day-to-day oversight and execution of organize, train and equip (OT&E) mission, to include 33K+ personnel, $180MM budget and 200+ aircraft.

The 859th Special Operations Squadron performs the Non-Standard Aviation mission for Air Force Special Operations Command. The squadron operates the Dornier 328 aircraft.

• Lead team of 150 personnel to fly special operations missions, in austere environments around the globe
• Maintained $5M annual budget and 24/7/365 worldwide operations.
