  • Research Project: Online Learning in Language Classes with Gail King PhD. Explored the overall relationship between class type and stress, anxiety, motivation, etc. and broke it down by gender, language, and year in school. We studied online, blended, and traditional language classes.
  • Research Project: Trauma-Informed Care Training on Pediatric Psychiatric Patients' Seclusion/Restraint Incidents, When staff had trauma-informed training, restraint incidents decreased in pediatric psychiatric patient care.
  • Research Project: Perspective on Coronary Calcium Scores as an Addition to Current Standard of Care Screening with Tanner Buckway, Tyler Burke, and Patrick Tufts M.D., Explored the idea of using Coronary Artery Calcium scans (CAC) as a screening tool for coronary artery disease in patients that are older than 45.
  • Research Project: The Association Between Periprosthetic Infections and the Gut Microbiome, A traditional review of research studies to predict the relationship between the health of the gut microbiome and infections in joint replacement patients.


Volunteer Work

  • Meals on Wheels - 2020 - present, I delivered meals to older adults that could not cook for themselves. This was especially vital to their health during the pandemic.
  • Big Brothers Big Sisters of America - 2022 - present, I volunteered to take a "Little Brother" and to do my best to be a role model and a support to him.
  • Phlebotomy in an volunteer clinic - 2020 - 2022, I volunteered as a phlebotomist to draw blood for those that could not afford to have testing done themselves.
