  • Shift lead for 13 IT network engineers, responsible for assigning and completing trouble tickets, network outages, and additional duties across Luke AFB, Gila Bend AF Aux, and satellite locations
  • Maintained and troubleshot network equipment; provides cost data analysis for acquisition of new equipment, installation, and configuration, while also managing user accounts and servers through Windows management console, as well as other proprietary software such as Cisco WebEx
  • Due to technical expertise, was sought out to supervise or manage a network enclave outage affecting thousands of members, allowing expertise with Linux based platform (Juniper) to fix with minimal downtime, was then awarded for proficiency
  • Maintained $33M CAN network; provided communications proficiency to 7.2K Luke AFB unclassified users in support of 57 F-16s and 99 F-35 fighter jets
  • Inspired cross-organizational partnerships among various Air Force Squadrons and Groups which include working with the Navy, Marine Corps, and Army on various network issues while supporting an F-35 program for all 3 versions of the F-35
  • Inspired Innovative information gathering and access for work center by building an information hub on Microsoft SharePoint/Microsoft Teams
  • Designated as the network security Subject Matter Expert (SME) to stand up a 6-member cyber readiness team
  • The team identified and resolved 512 vulnerabilities across an enterprise level network
  • Modernized network security lab with salvaged hardware to train 20 Airmen on OS upgrades
  • Managed 3-man team to complete 810 device upgrades which resolved 817 vulnerabilities.

Core Node Configuration and Deployment

Configured and Deployed L3 Juniper Core Node switch single handedly. 1200 hours self taught JUNOS!

Cisco/Juniper OS Upgrades

Created SOP for 13 member team to follow for iOS/OS upgrades, as well as doing hundreds on my own.

Emergency 911 network

Created Routed Network over Juniper systems that linked to Maricopa County emergency Services for location tracking and better response time.

Stood up Cyber Readiness Cell to implement/patch preventative and reactive network security vulnerabilities year round.
