  • Monitored and operated computerized plant and equipment controls (DCS).
  • Experience working with and troubleshooting the following: rotating equipment/pumps, valves, heat transfer equipment, utility infrastructure (boilers, cooling tower, air compressors, vacuum system, water treatment, etc.). Maintain accurate data and records regarding product internal and external flows, gauge readings, tank levels, and other Terminal activities.
  • Perform housekeeping to maintain a clean work environment and clean equipment such as filters, tanks and exchangers. Operated the biodiesel master control system (DCS). This includes operating the main production control system as well as subsystems that support plant operations.
  • Operated all equipment associated with the biodiesel process: including reactors, distillation, separators, and drying systems. Process samples utilizing lab equipment to obtain and record values on a computer spreadsheet and collect samples for several process areas. Inspect buildings, grounds, and equipment utilized by facility; determine immediate and long range needs for maintenance and repair work.
  • Collected samples from all stages of the production process and any additional/special samples as required.
