Coordinate Importing/Exporting of MW and MVARs. Adjusting generation voltage and loading to meet required demands. Maintaining spinning reserve policy. Responding to power disturbance and determining best actions to restore power to areas of highest priority. Dispatch T&D for line faults/trips. Initiate/verify Switching Orders, Clearance Requests and Clearance Release for all high voltage switching of equipment. Manually syncing generators to the grid. Initiating emergency response plan.
