Brian Cribbs

Currently a Captain/Paramedic assigned to the Fire Prevention Division. I have worked my way through the ranks at the fire department, starting at firefighter, FEO and ultimately to Captain. As a Captain, I spent time in the Operations and Fire Prevention divisions. Some career highlights include:

• Held position of Fire Marshal (Out of class)
• Member of Ocala Fire Rescue Special Operations team
• Member of USAR Task Force 8
• Responsible for writing the current burn permit SOG and city ordinance, along with facilitating the agreement with the Florida Forest Service which allowed Ocala Fire Rescue to issue burn permits in the city of Ocala.
• Responsible for writing the current Fire Prevention SOG for Ocala Fire Rescue.
• Master Leadership Academy graduate
• Florida Officer IV Certification

• Processed daily transactions accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with banking regulations.
• Assisted customers with account inquiries, providing exceptional service and fostering positive relationships.
• Balanced cash drawer at end of shifts, maintaining accurate records of financial activities.
