  • He formerly was a Barrister in the Family Law Inns of Court, previously served as a Barrister in the Chester Bedell Inns of Court, and was a member of the Fourth Judicial Circuit Grievance Committee.
  • He has extensive experience in all areas of family law, including divorce and legal separation, military divorces, uncontested divorces, child custody and visitation rights, child support in divorce and paternity cases, relocation issues, modification and enforcement of family court orders, and grandparent and relative custody as an alternative to foster care or juvenile dependency proceedings.
  • Prior to entering private practice, he served on active duty with the United States Navy as a member of the Judge Advocate Generals Corps(JAG) from 1985-1990. In 1987 he was awarded the Annual Naval Legal Service Law Day Award for Professional Growth and Conduct. He is presently a Commander in the Naval Reserves and is authorized to wear the Navy and Marine Corp Commendation Medal(2) and Naval Achievement Medal(3). In 1996, he was named Most Outstanding Naval Reserve Junior Judge Advocate General in the Southern Region. He retired from the Naval Reserve with the rank of Commander.
