  • Responsible for managing an Operations Help Desk using HP Service Manager ITIL ticketing application and service management application to coordinate workflows for basic & advanced design, implementation, and general connectivity request for core testing platforms, network switches, routers, firewalls, wireless access points/routers, DDI (DNS & DHCP) servers, Jump access servers, AAA (Cisco ACS), LDAP (local server services), and Radius (FreeRADIUS) authentication platform servers.
  • We were responsible for network security administration by developing attack mitigation processes & procedures, implementing, and maintaining policy-based routing on all border (Internet & intranet) routers, implementing AD Domain username and password authentication on all networking elements (switches, routers, firewalls, & support servers). Managing and implementing configuration on all core switches, routers, wireless routers/access points (Cisco Aironet & Aruba), and firewalls. We upgraded and maintained 4G core SDN & ACI network switches and routers.
  • Responsible for network monitoring using SolarWinds to monitor all Ingress and egress interfaces on all network switches, routers, & firewalls to provide performance management metrics regarding interface utilization & identify abnormal data flows.
