Hello,
My name is Brian Pennington.
I started my career in Mechanical HVAC, Mechanical Piping and Plumbing promoting to a Foreman and then into a Lead Drafter over the first couple of years of my career. Understanding the manual labor and the actual installation process, allows me to be a well rounded Senior Designer/Drafter and Engineer. I moved through my career into Drafting and Design/Engineering Mechanical Systems utilizing 3D software, Revit, Fabrication MEP, AutoCad and BIM/ VDC NavisWorks. I have worked with full coordination teams organizing multi-million dollar commercial and industrial construction jobsites utilizing virtual clash detection along with providing scheduling of building construction between contractors. I was also a beta tester for AutoDesk with their programs, AutoCAD/ Fabrication MEP and REVIT in 2018/2019. Being a Beta Tester allowed me to progress and fully understand the programs along with assisting Autodesk with updates and suggestions for both Revit and AutoCad programs. Through my career as a Senior Designer , I managed full drafting teams on some of the biggest projects on the United States East Coast. I have worked with some of the biggest general contractors in the industry on Pharmaceutical Plants, Data Centers, Hospitals, Warehouses, Manufacturing Facilities, Industrial Facilities, Federal and State construction jobsites. As a Senior Lead Designer I worked and coordinated by multi-tasking complex jobsites along with making sure schedules and tasks are done on time for owners and clients.
From start to finish I have worked with engineers/ owners to design build from their intent and complete their projects.
Working with previous manufacturing shops I would provide construction drawings, Isometrics, Hanger Drawings, P&IDs, Spool Fabrication Drawings (for Pre-Fabrication), 2D/3D Models, 2D/3D drawings, and As-Built drawings. Currently I am managing smaller projects designing and constructing HVAC Units and Water Source Heat Pumps looking to expand back into the bigger commercial industry.
Thank you for your time.
