Supervising Producer
4 Months- Created and produced (3) original documentaries for network's Free Ad Supported Channels.
- Each projected was created for under $50k and was composed of soley archival and stock material.
- Functioned as Preditor while working to create and string together each episode before minimal editorial polish.
- In charge of clearing and licensing all media.
Supervising Archival Producer
3 Years 2 Months- Supervised 10 person team that sourced, cleared, and licensed more than 4,000 archival or stock elements.
- Implemented workflow and tracking system that catalogued more than 10,000 unique elements that were processed and made available to our editorial team.
- Created & managed a budget of nearly $2 million
- Collaborated regularly with production teams, as well as network creative, marketing, & branding teams.
- Worked with legal team to customize individual licensing agreements for almost 100 different vendors.
- Negotiated custom rates and brokered deals with vendors to generate new partnerships.
Acquired Media Supervisor
6 Months- Responsible for all archival or stock material, research, as well as the coordination of all 3rd unit domestic and international shoots.
- Negotiated deals with almost a dozen international governments, film commissions, and crew members to set up 3rd unit shoots.
- Created and managed a budget of over $1 million.
- Collaborated with several departments including Art, SFX, Editorial, Creative, and Production on acquired visual materials.
Co-Producer
2 Years 4 Months- As the first employee hired by Film 45 I was responsible for wearing many hats. Initially hired as an associate producer; I continually added to my responsibilities by taking on writing duties for creative development, field production for last minute shoots, and post coordination for new projects. I then began to work on my own time to revive a scrapped project that would go on to win a 2017 Sports Emmy and allowed me to finish my team with the company as a Co-Producer.
Staffing Coordinator
10 Months- Marketed Film Independent and the Los Angeles Film Festival to the local community to generate more than 1,200 new applications.
- Communicated individually with the more than 800 hired to ensure they received proper orientation, training, and were scheduled for work.
- In one year I more than doubled the retention rate from 35% to 72% by creating web based tracking systems to eliminate errors and redundancy's while implementing safeguards to protect against unexpected outcomes.
- Coordinated with various departments as well as local law enforcement, theatre owners, and community organizers to facilitate the event.
