Responsible for creating custom color formulations for the plastics industry focusing on packaging as well as building and construction. This was accomplished by mixing pigments with a binder and testing in injection molders as well as extruders and underwater pelletizers. Samples were then prepared for customers and tested visually and with spectrophotometers as well as UV Vis.

Other duties included customer visits with online trials and adjustments coupled with education and other services.

Also serviced internal customers by assisting quality control, production and customer service.

Served on many committees including process improvement, color trends and inventory.

Responsible for imputing color formulations and recipes into our custom software. Responsible for trialing new pigments and additives, meeting with vendors and attending technical conferences.
