Finance lead for forecasting, month-end close, and reporting on all IT Capital spend. Manage forecasting for Tech infrastructure and SaaS expenses. Key Accomplishments:

· Develop and maintain monthly financial reporting and bridges to clearly communicate actual results, forecasted performance, and variance analytics for forecast, budget, and prior year

· Improve financial performance by analyzing results, monitoring variances, identifying trends, and recommending actions to executives

· Update reports and presentations for annual business plan reviews with leadership

· Develop and maintain detailed financial forecasting and budgeting models for capital and expenses. Identify key business drivers and dependencies and provide recommendations for improvement

· Partner with IT leaders, Optum Tech finance, and Business Ops leaders for forecast inputs. Ensure cost reduction initiatives and investments are reasonable and aligned with defined performance targets.

Provide financial budgeting, forecasting and analysis for both corporate and divisional capital and SaaS capital projects. Lead variance analysis and monthly account reconciliations. Prepare monthly and quarterly actual results reporting packages for leadership. Act as a finance business partner to tech across the organization as well as external vendors.

Key Accomplishments:

· Own rolling forecasts for capital and SaaS capital projects. Meet regularly with project managers to ensure forecast accuracy.

· Prepare variance analytics on IT spend. Investigate and explain critical variances, trends, and drivers.

· Lead account and cost center reconciliations for capital and SaaS projects on a monthly basis.

· Review SaaS contracts for payment terms and schedules. Create and maintain amortization schedules based off price and length of SaaS contracts.

· Facilitate asset roll outs and write-offs, update records to align with financial asset reporting. Update currency conversions for assets across global business units. Own depreciation forecasts for Europe and North America.

Support the development of annual budgets and forecasts of program revenues and expenses. Analyze trends, risks and opportunities as well as variances between budgets and actual results. Assist in creating efficient operational models and streamlining processes. Implement solutions and opportunities for cost reduction.

Key Accomplishments:

· Lead program performance analysis and reporting.

· Prepare, analyze and present monthly, quarterly, and annual results for internal managers.

· Assist in the preparation of financial reports for year-end corporate and contract compliance audits.

· Partner with accounting during the monthly close process; Review General Ledger to ensure compliance with GAAP standards, submit journal entries, accrual calculations, and reclasses as needed
