  • DRESS syndrome is a rare, life-threatening T-cell mediated Hypersensitivity. This case demonstrates how direct inspection of a patient's medication bottle identified a dispensing error and established a diagnosis. Lamotrigine in place of labetalol resulted in a poor outcome.
